Big Fun At the RoundUp...but no pics....

Just got home! Had a great time hanging out with some of my DEADBEAT brothers, some really great friends and all the cool HAMBers (and some cool non-HAMBers as well)!!! Unfortunately I didn't get to see any cars at the Saturday show, due to striping/lettering obligations. Got to look at lots of cool rides on Congress Saturday night, though. The best part was just hanging out and meeting some real cool people. The HAMB has some kick ass members. Wish I coulda spent more time with more people....way too much to see and do. The bash at Flyrite, today, was a great way to end the weekend, too! Jason and Whitney threw a real nice gathering. Thanks to everyone posting pics from the weekend...gives me chance to see lots of cool stuff that I missed. Thanks again to Flyrite Choppers and to all the Kontinentals that busted ass to make the weekend happen.

Well, My fly wheel didn't come loose but the gear teeth that surround the aluminum flywheel did. This is why the starter would run but the engine wouldn't turn. Now, I need a good fly wheel. Or I need to repair the one I have.

I guess I see your point about building this car so that you can grow into it. This way you won't be soooo aggravated by the rough ride and discomfort of a real hot rod. Now, you can concentrate on saving-up for an R.V. and a nice covered trailer. I was in "THE ZONE" over this weekend ( being so greatly influenced by J. James adds ) and placed a order for a two stage NOS system. I am also having made, a custom, Kevlar jacket to wrap around my engine ( to keep all my engine parts in one spot ). Hope you are ready for the showdown of the in-liners against the "Common" small blocks.
