Traditional SLEEZE...

I know there's lots of collectors on here. One of the many things I collect is nudie/pinup/vintage sleeze items. I scored this on e-bay on Friday and picked it up locally today. It's a 1950 Camera Chief coin operated peepshow. You put a penny in and it shows "the Girlie Show" which is 9 different color 50's pinups in 3D. I've been getting my 1 cent jollies all afternoon! This is my favorite vintage goodie ever!

It acutally looks much better than the photo as I cleaned it up once I got it home. I'll post after pics later...

Everyone has clothes on and the last chick is wearing a naughty black bra and panties. They are all very traditional early 50's pinup shots like Bunny Yeager would have shot. I wish I could show em to you!

I used to collect antique and unusual pocket knives(still pick them up occasionally)and some years ago picked up a couple of very unusual knives.They were souvenirs of Havana(Habana)Cuba long before Castro came to power.On one end was a retractible mechanical pencil and on the other a small folding pen knife blade.It also had a pocket clip and if you looked closely at the side there was a little clear plastic bubble protruding slightly about 1/16th of an inch in diameter.This is what is known as a,"Stanhope Viewer" after it's inventor Charles Stanhope.Placed underneath the plastic(which is in reality a magnifying lens)is a small piece of microfilm.By holding this viewer up to the light(it goes through the handle)you can see the picture inside.These two pieces happen to have pictures of Victorian era nudes which were very popular in the 1920's and 30's although they had been around since the 1890's.I have seen better examples with as many as six of these little lenses inlaid into a knife handle(many were giveaways from Anheuser-Busch showing the company's founder and pictures of the business)and some of them have gone for nearly a thousand dollars.Sorry getting carried away.

Wife collects 40s-50s pinups and calender art, about 50 of them on the bedroom walls. I have about 2500 ball-point pens from the first Remington to the early 60s, all with ads on them, that my dad collected??? Oh, also got several hundred sets of Dice.............OLDBEET

I bid on a box of magazines and pictures at an estate auction, and buried in the box was a wooden slide box full of slides. Turned out to be several sets of Bette Page slides from the late 40's - early 50's, and other sets of an unknown pinup. Racy stuff for the time...

I love this stuff. I collect antique tin toys from the '50s-'60s, and no, they're not THOSE kind of toys. I'm talking about little mechanical, battery-operated figures. I only concentrate my collecting on the ones with "adult" themes, like smoking, drinking, and things considered risque' at the time. I've got a bartender, dice-shooter, and a couple town drunks (one a sailor, one an aristocrat). My favorite, by far, is a stripper. She's actually a "bank" you put money in, and the more money you put in, the more she reveals. It's really cool, and I'm always on the lookout for these things. I don't think they'll make toys encouraging smoking, drinking, and bawdy behavior again anytime soon, so I'm holding on to them. Sure enough, I watched one of those "Antiques Roadshow" programs and they listed battery-operated tin toys as the new, "hot" collectible. Now I'll have to pay more...

Back in junior high I started collecting Zippo's. I'm currently well over a hundred, but my favorites are the first and second limited edition Petty Girls http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. My wife hates them, but her father gave her so much crap that she finally gave up and they are now proudly up front in my display case!
