I'm goin' but was thinkin about the Expo one. Perhaps the track one is the place to be?
The battling swap thing has be confused and bummed. By the time I pay to park and get into either one - I am starting to run low on money...

Ya I know it does suck. The city ask the swap commitee if they wanted to work together but they said no. I think that light rail should be up and running not 100% sure but if it is that would help out with parking cost. The track swap opens to the public at noon on thursday and expo friday at 7 am...Danny

I'm letting Jim "the old car glass guy" Arnold have my spaces this year. As he mentioned above, the spaces are in Building D. Look for spaces 3011, 3012, and 3013, right against the wall next to the breezeway between Buildings C and D. These three spaces in a row are on the north wall of Building D.
The first body that we're building in Utah is underway, and will be done shortly after the swap meet. I decided against travelling all the way to Portland to display the unassembled body kits, which are no longer our focus. In 2005 we'll have some very trick assembled steel '32 roadster bodies on display, and some other neat stuff.
For anyone who hasn't been there, the Portland Swap Meet is always a good one. Stop in if you can.

Danny, Joyce told me she is going. I told her what booth spaces you have. She thought it was funny that she found out what spaces you have from someone in Detroit. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I've been trying to convince her the HAMB is where it's at. Do what you can to convince her these guys don't bite... well they don't bite female hot rodders to bad. If you see her will you please give her a huge hug from me? Thanks bud! xoxox

The mention of McGurk reminded me that this may interest some of you:
"Recently acquired: The entire McGurk Engineering inventory including patterns, NOS parts, documentation and records. The McGurk company was a major supplier of speed equipment such as intakes, valve covers, roller cams, etc. in the 1950s, and was purchased as a subsidiary of Iskenderian Cams many years ago. We recently completed the deal to acquire McGurk from the "Camfather", Ed Iskenderian himself. The original mahogany casting patterns are in beautiful shape, and plans are to begin reproducing new McGurk Engineering pistons, valve covers, intake manifolds, rocker arms, and rocker arm assemblies in late fall 2003."
