Fan shroud in a 54 Chevy?

What have you guys used for a fan shroud in 53-54 Chevys, specifically with a V8...homemade?....donor?...none?. I was looking at a shroud from a early 60's Impala...looks kinda like a cut down steel drum, maybe with some modifications it would work. Any ideas?

I use none. I had my radiator guy recore the stock radiator and install bigger V8 sized outlets for bigger hoses. No problems yet
