Hi, another new guy from New Zealand, Driver is a 33 Plymouth four door with small block. Just picked up a 330 Desoto Hemi to fit into a 38 dodge coupe. Been a member of the local rod club since the late 70s. The club was formed in 1959.
Drove the 33 for a few years as a stocker but got sick of being pushed off the road. Did the rebuild in the carport attached to the side of the house Took 8 months to do and get certified as per our regulations. Photo taken at Beach hop this year(That’s my son driving)
Cheers

Hey Peter,
Welcome aboard, I think you guys were staying close by where we were at Beach Hop this year I'm pretty sure I saw your car down the Rangi road end of town.
Any pics of the coupe project ?
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Yeah we stayed down the south end of the beach. Will be taking plenty of build photos as I get into it. Got a couple of photos when I picked the coupe up will dig one up and attach it
Cheers

Hi Paul,
As promised, a shot of the 38 dodge coupe destined to receive the 330 Desoto Hemi. This photo was taken as we unloaded the dodge. The Hemi is now sitting on the Auckland Wharf awaiting MAF inspection Hope fully it won’t be too long before they are introduced

Sweet, good luck with MAF, I have that to go through again soon, just shgelled out on a couple of 56 Olds motors and tranny's.
Look forward to seeing it hit the pavement. PM me if you need any dress up parts etc, I have a good line on some stuff from one of my suppliers.
