Hello H.A.M.B.s,
I've been signed up for several months now but need to post a question so I'd best introduce myself first. I've been working on my `62 Falcon for over six years now. It's my daily driver and I ain't rich so I do one project at a time as I can. My next task is to rebuild a 200 straight six with a few performance upgrades. Six in a row make the Falcon go...and I'd like to keep it that way.
I really enjoy metal fabrication and want my next project to be a custom rod. Don't really know what it will be or end up being but that's why I'm here. Only thing I know right now is it will be in the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury family and will be old school...billetproof.
I'm the president of a new chapter of the Falcon Club of America, The Rainier Chapter, here in Seattle and western Washington. A few of us will be at the Shanty Tavern Car Show on 9/23. It's part of the Rockabilly Ball. If anyone else is going shout out.
Hope to meet some of you someday and have a cool ride to show off. See you on the board!
