Saving PMs

I'm at the magic number...499... and need to save my PMs. So I downloaded them in all three formats and it only downloaded ones from the beginning of the year (2006) and none from 2005. Did I do something wrong or is that as good as it gets?

Now there's a good question!

I have no pm's that old so I cannot duplicate that of which you speak...

Try this though, make a new folder (you can do that I think) and move the older ones into it. Then try saving that folder seperately.

The odd thing is that the ones dated 2005 still exist in my box and are readily accessible in the PM screen. So WHY don't they copy like the rest?

Don't forget your "Sent" PM's count in that 499 total. You can delete those by heading to your User CP, "Control Panel", hit the little tringle thats next to "Private Messages", this will bring up a list of folders. You will then see "Sent" hit that and you can now see all the sent messages you have and perhaps delete some of those. If you need help, call.
