Definetely not for a 144/170/200/250 as they all had the intake cast right into the head. Prolly for the 215/223 series motor.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but anyone who wants (and can pick it up in Livermore) a *FREE* running 200 I6 out of a '66 Mustang send me a mail. Its gettin' dumped this weekend, otherwise.....

Kustomizer-

Did you pick up a 200 yet to re-build instead of the 170?

See, the going rate for a running 200 ford 6 is . . . free. you just have to ask around on the mustang boards for one in your area. The mustang guys almost all convert to v-8 since thier cars are so ugly that they need to at least be fast. This one is a bit far for you but if you check around they are all over the place for nuthin. There is no sense in rebuilding the 170 since the 200 is the same motor only stronger.

oh and by the way that intake doesn't fit any motor that will fit in your car.

i decided to take out the 170, i didnt rebuild i just did a complete gasket set and freeze plugs and rear main seal and a new gas tank. I also put a floor shift kit in. Ill post pics when its done. Thanks nate

the head gasket was torn up pretty bad, but the worst part on my car and what caused all the problems was my gas tank. I poured the old gas out and it came out dark dark brown. The motor is looking really good and i hope to have the car running this weekend. Thanks nate
