the crossram in its natural environment: on top the 413 max wedge in my '62 super stock plymouth. a true product of good old american ingenuity, the crossram was designed in a weekend by the Ramchargers(TM). the factory mounted two AFBs jetted for max horsepower, I made up some adapters to mount two 97s and two 48s. the linkage will be a zoo.
the 413 is the same size as a 440, and i bet you could get that under the hood fairly easily. you need to recess the firewall about 5 inches, the only real hard part is steering. big blocks mount the oil pump on the driver side, same with the starter. the result is major interference with just about any place you want to mount the box. david
run a remote oil filter, mini starter and cowl stearing?
