Hello everyone! Well, it's that time of year again, summer is about gone and fall is on the way.

The Metalflake Misfits would like to extend an invitation to all HAMBers for our Adios Vernal BBQ #2. Bring your kustom or hot rod out and have a bite and get together one more time before the summer is gone. It's next Sunday, September 21, 2003 from noon 'til 5 at Cushing Park in Englewood, Colorado. Hope to see you there!

If anybody needs directions, please PM me. BTW, I have a flier for this, but I have no idea how to post it. If somebody will volunteer, I'll send it your way to post.

Thanks everyone, and hopefully we'll see you there!

Sorry that you can't make it Tom. We try to plan our end of the year BBQ around everything else, but there is always something going on around here.

I might try to get up to the swap at Bandimere on Saturday. I've never had much luck selling or buying at that swap. It seems like it is a swap meet geared toward the muscle car/restorer crowd. The best swaps are the Polar Bear and the Tri-State around late January or early February.

Hope you find lots of neat goodies! Layta.............E

Boy, you got that right! Sometimes you go with your buddy to the swap. He's looking for that special part and has a roll of cash in his pocket. You go just to get out of the house for awhile. You have just a few bucks in your pocket for a soda pop while you shop, and to grab a burger on the way home. Your buddy can't find his part, and you find tons of stuff you could use at great prices, but no cash to close the deal.

OR..................

You're working the swap meet trying to get rid of some stuff that is cluttering up the garage and to make some cash for your new project. Your buddy had too much cerveza the night before, so he can't get up to hit the gate bright and early. Looks like you'll be on your own today. That means you can't do much looking 'cause you have to mind your wares. All day long you watch the steady parade of your buddies going by with all the neat stuff they scored! To make it worse, they always say "yeah, man, and it was only 20 bucks!"

Never fails, huh?
