'50 ford master cylinder

Hey everyone..

My big question... is the master cylinder for a 1950 ford passenger car the same as a 1950 ford 1/2 ton pickup?

If so.. i can get a reman truck one.. cheaper than a rebuild kit for the passenger car one.

Hopefully someone out there has this knowledge.

Physically, no they are not the same. But the bore may be the same, so the rebuild kits might cross over. Not sure about that.

I just know that one won't bolt in the place of the other because they are made differently. (The pass. car MC has a hole in it that the clutch pivot slips through.)
