Any pics out there of just the frames in old gasser drag cars.Would like to get some ideas on how the front ends were mounted.thanks

Here's a couple of possibilities. First check the gassermadness website. Lots of pictures there. You also might want to check out some old early 60's drag racing magazines. They're usually full of buildups and features.

fitzee -- it would help to know what kind of gasser you're talking about..as well as what kind of front end - straight axle? Transverse leaf? What make/model of car?

I`m picking up a old 49 Hillman and looking for ideas of frames.Must tell you the truth,never see a gasser up close.That what it is living on a island out on the east coast.I know there are many different set ups would like to see a sample of gasser with solid front axles.I`ll check out gassermadness,been there before,forgot about that site,thanks.

I have the same front end.Much to changing the brakes over to camaro?Are the spindles Dodge??

I honestly don't know about the Camaro setup. I bought this one from a street rodder going to independent front.
I think Plymouth spindles, different bearings for the camaro hubs and adapter plates for the calipers. Sorry it's not near where I can check further. If you're not in a hurry I can get some pics fairly soon.
