The weather forcast is steller! low 80s all weekend.

Can't wait...I've been useless at work today thinking about all the things I have to do before Friday morning.

Hey Kontinentals,

I can't wait to get down to Austin. We will be leaving Wednesday after work and staying at the Clarion Inn. We hope to be getting into town around 3:00 pm Thursday.

Well the nasty purple paint that I had on the 50 Merc last year is long gone. I was in a creative mood so I shot my Merc with some Hot Rod black primer. Ron Myers threw down some lines on the hood and trunk.

A lady told me the other day she saw my Merc in the Auto Zone commercial. I argued with them for a while. I ended up saying that they were right. I told them it was in my contract not to tell people because it would void my royality agreement. They said they would not tell anybody. (HA,HA,HA,)

I will be coming down on friday in my bucket. (59 el camino)
Traveling with the caravan from DFW via Carl's Corner. Unfortuantly no fresh paint, repair panels, rust and rust holes just mechanically sound. Ran out of time especially working in New Jersey and flying home to Dallas on the weekends to work on the bucket.

Work said might have to work the weekend, uh no you will be while I am in Austin. Do or Die

Big problems in the north. Tuck has tapped himself to that Dodge truck. He is dizzy from the blue lines and can't get out of Canada. The border police have him in chains...... Those fucking Canadians are crazy.

Things are a little messed up.

We have a mad scramble to find another rig to tow the roadster and have enough room for me and Max, the girls, and Elvis's Corps.

We will miss Tuck, but must move on. We must bring Elvis to Texas. We MUST.

I sure hope we can make it.

Looks like I wont have my minibike since I didn't get it finished last night, brakes don't work (can be overlooked) but no throttle control, and I couldn't get the engine to run either (but of course, it did when I bought it...) I really need to add some more support to the backbone anyway. Oh (fucking) well!! Maybe I'll scoot back home Thursday night and mess with it some more.

Stubbs is pretty dang good. I have Stubbs sauce in my fridge. I'm not to BBQ afficianado (sp) that some folks are, but I know what I like.

The best BBQ around here, IMHO, is either Salt Lick or Kreuz's. Salt Lick is in Driftwood, Kreuz is in Lockhart, both about 30-45 mins. away. The best, in town, is either Stubb's, or Iron Works.

Yes I've been to the "Salt Lick" (startin to Drooool) and to another half dozen (including the two BBQ's that were in that "Family Fued"!) that were better!
