hi ,
i'm from france , i live at lyon ,5 hours south from paris.
and would like to describe how it's hard to be a traditionnal hotrodder in france.
no dragstrip
no fun
no punkrodders
no project cars , no speed parts
no rok'n'roll
only 10 radical cars all other the country.
so ,all goes well !

Welcome to the HAMB

I suppose with gasolne at about 1.33 euros/liter a V8 motor would be trop cher to operate.

Hot rod magazine had a photo of a group of American cars in a French junkyard in the latest issue. Assuming you found that junkyard and bought an American car from it, would you be able to get it licensed and legal to drive on the roads of France? How strict is French law on vehicle modifications?

do you know where the junkyard is, in france ?
it's legal to drive a classic american car in france with the original title.
all hot rod and modified cars need a "colector title" delivered by the ffve (french federation of colector cars) an insurance and a special technic visit every 2 years .
you can drive a hot rod without probleme ,but we don't have modified title.
if you have a crash ,you paid injuries, all your life !
