The culmination of 4 months of cutting, weldin, grinding, sanding, banging, cussing, and hell raising was nearly cancelled out this week end. Hubnut (Grant),kustomd (Don) and I (Jester) were on the way to a local festival for a small car show, Hubnut in his 53 merc, kustomd in his chopped 54 chevy, and me (Jester) in my chopped 53 chevy when a lady just stops in the middle of the fuck'n road. There was a man in front of Hubnut who barely stopped in time, Hubnut slid and bumped the man in front of him, kustomd slid and turned toward the ditch to miss hubnut, and I well I locked up my brakes and the beast was not going to stop. I had a vision of one really long chopped chevy as I saw myself cream kustomd......I jerked the wheel into the oncomming lane and nailed the accelerator going around the line of nearly piled up cars. No one injured no major damage and we all made it to the show. What a weekend, I got to drive my ride for the first time since the chop, I nearly got into an accedent, I made a small show, and I got sun burn on top of sun burn.....Great Fuck'n Time.....Can't wait till Dewey http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
