My 10 year old son Levi, pulled his homework out of his backpack tonight and included was a book from the school library. Not just any book but none other than "The Hotrod Chronicle." I asked him if the library had other hot rod books and he said they have lots of them. Gotta love our public school.
I have been wanting to own this book for months! First he takes best in show for his salt flat racer inspired pinewood derby - then this.
The things that make a dad happy. I spent the last hour pouring over this great book showing some of the classic rods of all time from the 40's on up. Looks like all our time in the garage and my rod mags are rubbing off on him. Talk about a positive influence.
