My kids were off with a snow day Friday, so I stayed home. By noon, the roads were clear, so we went to a shop to see about them doing some work on my '40. Here's a couple of pictures of his stuff.

The last one was a 3 window after a dunk in the Redi-Strip tank. This '34 had been taken to a Rod Shop in North Jersey where the shop owner took a large deposit and didn't do much work. The car owner had to go to court and won damages and got the car back. Guess he was fed up with the project so he donated it to a Vo-Tech school. Current owner go it from the Vo-Tech place. Driver side post still needs to be slanted. Not what I would want for a frame, but who cares if it comes with a steel 3 Window.

There were more cars stored in the back behind a door saying "Authorized Personell Only". Some people went in, so I followed.

I like the last shot titled "Hangover at the Lincoln Plant Circa 1967", what did you mean by this? My father still works there. Did in '67 too. It's in Wixom, MI. The stories he tells..........

Mercman, The sign with that Lincoln said about 8 cars came off the assemly line with the "L" in Continental backwards.

I showed my Dad the pic of the Lincoln (and didn't tell him what was wrong) and told him briefly about the HAMB and where the pic came from, and the details...here's his reply:

"Must've been Friday night shift cars back then! If that was MY shift, I would have caught it on inspection but, I wasn't on inspection yet."
