chevy six manifold..

hey i was wonderin' if the exaust manifold on a 51-52 chevy six,will bolt up to a 235 on a '53 chebby..i have a free intake and exaust manifold off a '51-52 chevy i think its a 216..not clear on that..but wanna know if it'll bolt onto a 235..just for curiosity sake...thanks dudes...craig http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have an early 216 and the manifold looks the same as my 54's 235. I've never tried to bolt one up but it sure looks like it would fit.

They look the same...and are except for the port size on the 235 is larger.

I'm not really to clear on what you're asking, but a 216 intake/exh assembly will fit a 235 & vice/versa. A 216 exhaust manifold will not bolt to a 235 intake manifold & vise/versa.
