welcome to the hamb, wayne.
i think some of the things you'll learn quickly here are that many folks really hate the term 'rat rod' and most folks arent into Camaro's. I can respect anyone that does quality work on their cars themselves though...
That said, i think folks will be into seeing progress on your '48 and you'll find a lot of expertise here when you need it. Do you know the history of that car, by the way? Looks like some custom work was done quite a while back...

Thanks Scott. I guess I'll have to refer the car to a hot rod instead.
I picked the car up as an unfinished project. The previous onwer started on the chassis and installed a mustang II front end with a power rack along with a 10 bolt rear end with new leaf springs. The ride height is a bit lower.
Plans are to do mild interior work, throw in a small block chevy with and automatic tranny, re-wire it, paint it "hot rod black" with flames, drive it and enjoy it
Hey Wayne, Welcome. It’s nice to see you here. There are a bunch of guys here from CB. Any progress with the skirts fabrication?
