My feeble attempt at art. This was a quick sketch on a piece of scratch paper at work. I transfered it to the big time. Tried using as few lines as possible to keep it clean.

Man, you guys are amazing with that pinstriping! This art show gets better every week.
Heres mine for this week. This is a resin model kit of Thunderpig. I actually own a full scale hot rod bumpercar like the pig is driving, and 3 buddies and I put together this caricature kit. Its not everyones cup of tea, but we like it. My buddy Steve assembled this kit and did a great job.
If you are interested in the car, check out the link. The girl's not hard to look at either! http://people.montana.com/~kaparich/A.jpg THUNDERPIG (http://www.thunderpig.homestead.com/)

Here are a couple of Alternative Photography pieces.

The first one was a school assignment on pictorialism and we had to create it as a cyanotype. So I did mine on canvas and tried to make it look like a "B-movie" poster. Can you believe I got an A on !!! I thought it kinda lacked.

Anyway....here it tis'

Buick59
03-19-2004, 11:21 AM
Ands this last one is a polaroid transfer....I put it on water color paper.

I promise I will put a "how to" on Cyanotypes as soon as time permits.

And to the HAMBERS who i owe pics too.........Im hitting the post office today.

I posted this on a seperate thread yesterday, but for what it's worth... I am re-building the Coollows website.
I guess that it is considered art. At least all of the photography and such..
I am only about 25% done with it and it is very time consuming.
All of the girls pages are up and a few of the rides pages are up...
check it out www.coollows.com (http://www.coollows.com)

Finished Jason's lettering on his tank, striped the tank and the fender. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I'll be back on Tuesday for some fun! Done by fellow Coollow Sam Chamberlain at Suffer City.

I haven't been able to scan anything for a long time. I never hold on to any of my art!!!

I don't have anything "new" to post. I have posted these a couple other times, but that was back before some of you were newbies, so here goes. I will try to get some other stuff done so I can post something for next Friday, until then, this'll have to do.

This is not the origional, it's a shabby "homemade" print. 2nd rate print 2nd rate scanner. The origional was signed by none other than Jim Wangers and framed. That was before this copy was made.

Broman
03-19-2004, 05:41 PM
Another from the archives......

These are all copies of origionals. Most of these were started as doodles in the classroom that ended up going farther than normal doodles. By far paencil sketching is my favorite thing to do. It's not good for selling but it's fun as hell..

The mouse/rat thing was origionally inspired by the HAMB. It was supposed to be a HAMBster, but everyone sees a mouse. Ohh well....
