Hi all,
My names Steve, I bought a 51 Ford tudor in March on ebay. The car was stripped and media blasted and primed before I got it, so all the dirty work is done. There's no suspension or drivetrain so I have a clean slate to start from. I'm thinking of going with a 460 or a 351 and a 5spd. with a triangulated 4 linked explorer disc brake rear and air suspension. For the front suspension I'll keep the stock control arms and maybe go with Fatman disc conversion. I might even get brave and do a mild chop. I've been reading the tech forum about the steering, I like the idea of the rack and pinion, but I also have been reading about the Volvo swap. Does anybody have any pics of either steering installed and pros and cons?
Thanks,
Steve

Welcome, I am NEW here as well. I like the thoughts you have about starting with a Clean Slate! I would probably pick up a couple of Magazines and check some Websites on Ratrods. I am pretty sure that you will get ALOT of different opinions on what to do with your Ride from HAMB Members. Good Luck!
