In need of Help,Finding vin on a 39 Chevy

In the process of purchasing a 39 Chevy Deluxe Chop Top project,but can't seem to find any numbers on the car? Checked the frame below the fire wall,Any other places?The car has no title or paper work,and has been sitting in a garage for twenty plus years.Any help would be great.Thanks
