Nice work. You've got a lot of balls saving that turd. Most would've have walked away.
It's well on it's way to becoming as good as new.

That looks soooooo good. Every early ranchwagon is full of rust. Musta been the steel they used. I've got one not near so far along. The whole lowest 7 inches of mine was rusted away. Its amazing how small those wagons really are.. About minivan size. If you're missing any parts, let me know. I've also got a 4 door wagon as a parts car and any parts I dont need you are welcome to fer free.

Good to see the floor can be saved, I know my delivery is pretty rotten in the floor even though the outer body is not too bad. You did some nice work! thanks for the info on back glass on my post. Rodshop

Gotta say that makes my delivery look a little better. Most of the rust is in the lower 2-3 inches, one side a little worse than the other. Who did you get patch panels from? Were you happy with what you got? rodshop

The panels came outta that sheet of 20 gauge steel......used a brake and a set of eastwood strechers for shaping
The last photo showed the good side http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif,,,also made the door rocker panel after cutting out a piece of the original as a pattern.

I have built a bunch of early 30's and 40's cars over the years the wagon is the hardest built to date,,,,,and was purchased buy my wife grandmother in 1954 for her flower shop. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gifHRP
