Hey everyone my name is Mike and i hail from Montreal ( yes i can speak french, and yes i like poutine...:o ) I've been lurking around here for a few months and noticed that I've already learned a heck of alot from you guys are gals and I think I'm ready to join in on the fun. I dont have too much to offer as far as knowleadge goes since I'm only starting my first build now (51 ford) but I am a welder so i could maybe be of assistance in that area. So please be gentle with me if i ask some stupid questions, I have a HUGE interest in cars and the culture but i didnt grow up around that lifestyle so you guys are going to have to mold me into a real pro :D. Anyway pleasure to meet you all!

OH by the way if there is anyone from montreal on here let me know!
I'm going to the granby car show this weekend and it would be cool to meet people (even though the conversation will be once sided since i dont know much other than about metalworking) I'll be sure to post some pic when i get back

yeah man the alley dukes are are pretty cool band seen em' a few times. If you like that kinda stuff you should check out my friends band Les Prostiputes, they play quite a bit with the gutter demons... another great band.

its amazing, only if you get it here though anywhere else thats tries to make its just not the same... we even have gourmet poutine shops here where you can add all these exotic ingredients to your poutine...... thats a little too high brow for me though hahah. I went to a show in granby yesterday and what was the first booth? tires? wheels? pinstriping? nope CHEESE CURDS hahaha aaah good ol' quebec. :D

(ps i picked up a set of six perfect condition '56 merc hubcaps for 40 bucks haha i love going to the lots when the old man is gone for lunch and he leave his discruntled wife in charge.... if only they were selling some nice grills.....)
