So basically I must say this board scares the hell out of me. I don't know much about cars but I have a 55 Buick in the driveway and I am learning everything and anything I can about her. I probably won't be posting much (if at all) but I just wanted to say hello. I bug the hell out of another member on here (McTullis) with tons and tons of questions and he told me if I wanted to find some people who knew their shit this would be a good start. So here I am and thanks for all the help you've given me thus far.
I'm in transistion from San Marcos to Austin TX so maybe i'll see some of you or your cars around. I went to the Lonestar Roundup in Austin in April and old rods and customs have been my crack ever since. Driving down South Congress always makes me flash back to that weekend where the street looked like a scene out of American Graffiti. Anyhow, Hello!

Did you come to an open house at South Austin Speed Shop last year right after you bought the car? I think I met ya'll there. If it's the car I'm thinking of, it's a great start to a cool custom.
Either way, welcome to the HAMB.

for the most part the paint is fine but there are some spots that look like they were spray painted to match... and it doesn't match. through the art of bartering paint is being done for almost nothing so the ol girl is getting a makeover.

Good to see ya on here. Saw the car at the open house and Crushproof. When ya'll gonna get that thing lower?:D Of course, I'm the guy with the purple/green candy lace roofed '62 Impala that barely makes it over speed bumps:o
