Root I'd like to see them as well.

Looks as though you're going to have to super structure everything now that you've got the HP spankin the chassis! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Man I know I took some pics but I think they may be on my Dad's computer. Sorry I can't find em. The only ones I have are pre-rollcage.

Tim, do you mean with the engine and all installed?

It's close to 2 feet in the air. 22 inches sounds right, can't remember for sure.

The axle is under the frame. Front and rear. The front has a 2" spacer block in it.

Here's a few more that kinda show the frame. I am bad about taking pics and then losing them forever.....

Judging from the earlier photos I guess that's How you set up your pinion angle..., right?

Would the car pass NHRA or IHRA Tech? If it does would you campaign that puppy on other tracks???

It would be fun to see that "Gasser" class brought back to the main tracks! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's built to NHRA specs.....the only thing they could gig me on is the colored glass......it's in the book . I just ignored it. Maybe the battery box in the drivers compartment. If need be I could throw up a sheetmetal divider wall.

What have you got for diagonal support?

Seeing the body and doors react to all that torq indicates she needs a little more support! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I used to Bust the quarter windows out of my 56 chevy because the frame twisted like a pretzell! After I caged it..., I added extra diagonals and it stopped that problem and then I started twisting axles...! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Do you have shots of the cage...? Or the frame cross bracing..?

How's your trans mounted? Do you have a plate that gets sandwiched between the engine & trans? (That would help alot!)
