I got the engine/trans set in place this week and finally got the suspensions bolted up. Still have some modification work to do on the frame before I can get the ShockWaves mounted so until then I'll have to rely on a couple of blocks to hold her at ride height. The frame is sitting 4.5 inches off the floor at normal height...this gives me a few inches to drop it and a few to raise it...

Yeah JT, I'd be a lot farther along if I hadn't gotten so carried away with the polishing... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I'm just about ready for you to come out and do your floor magic...

Yeah, I guess that's pretty much the truth...there is some Merc there though, it's the rusty part holdin' the two shiny ends together... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Very impressive. Very. The stuff I dream about. Can't wait to see it all together! Guess you got me beat in the "who's Merc is more modern" category...so now I don't feel so bad about being "non-traditional", but I have no cash, so I guess it's all relative, right? Plus, I think you're older than me. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
