got the message from rich & penny pichette of West Coast Kustoms the other day and they asked me to post this.........some of you may allready know about it.
bill hines, norm grabowski, dick dean,& gene winfield are going to be on the discovery channel's monster garage customizing an early 50's chevy coupe.
should be the best episode ever as i'm sure there wont be lame arguing and wrench throwing.

We got the word from Joyce, Gene's lady friend when she was in Detroit for the Autorama. I too think it will be the best MG ever.

She also showed us some of Gene's personal photos from the set. Looks like everyone had a good time along with all the work. I forgot to scan them while she was here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

FlatTop Bob has some photos (http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=306965&Forum=A ll_Forums&Words=norm%20monster%20garage&Match=And& Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=1month&Main=306965&Searc h=true#Post306965) from the set as well from Normie Poo.

I saw the comercial for it. Looks like they will be applying their divine touch to a 54 Bel Air.

I really hope the TV producer type guys don't find a way to **** this up.

They must be doing another one too, because I was acros the street Thursday doing a carburetor for a friend and Dean and Bill and some other guys were out front of the garage talking and Bill's Lil Bat was parked across the street.

What should be interesting is whether Discovery channel will get away with scripting drama for these legends.
How much will Jesse really learn?

Probably the quietest M.G. I have watched. It was amazing just getting a chance to watch the masters work after admiring their art for so many years. very http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

they made the section job look so easy... by far one of the best customer car related shows on TV in a long time if ever

That's when you know they're pros when they make it look so easy. 6 days to chop and channel a car that's amazing. I'm going to record that show next time it airs. Definately a five star Monster Garage. KK http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I agree. I was smiling for most of the show. They put a real spin on that 54 and did things I would not have thought of. Best MG to date.....makes me want my old 54's but I KNOW that could start another love/hate topic........
