oh btw if any one knows of anywhere I can get my hands on a 60's chassis research car (just a usable chassis would be fine). I'd like to build a replica of a car that my grandfather had. Which set the A/comp record in 1964 at Indy.

I was at Indy in '64. Who was Grampa ? I might remember him.

Wilbur "Robbie" Roberson, member of the Middletown Pacemakers of Ohio. I'll post a pic of the car as soon as I can find one that I can scan.

I have a bunch of movies I took at the '64 Nats. I'll look and see if that car is on there.

The plan is to build a clone of the car pictured above, as best as possible, and use it in car shows and the occisional cackle-fest. I'd also like to build a replica of the car ( not using an original chassis) but make it legal to bracket race and exhibition race. I'm sorry I didnt e-mail you back I accidently deleted your email address. My apologies.
