O/T, Computer printer transfer paper?

My wife wants me to print a quote and transfer it to our fireplace mantle (painted wood) I tried the T Shirt transfer stuff without much luck. Any ideas? I need to clean up my Honeydoo list and get back to work on my /34. Thanx and sorry for the off topic, but I know there's a bunch of guys here my 'puter savvie than me.

There was a great tech post by whizzerick a while back about creating water transfer decals. They listed the type of paper needed. Maybe this will work for you?

WoW! Musta missed that post. Thanx Much! Whizzerick, do you dlear the decal and cut it out before you transfer it or clear the part after the decal has been applied?
