Tire /wheel sizing ??

got a pr of 8.5 width inner bead to bead (9"outside to outside) wheels and just picked up a pr of NOS McCreary crossed racing flag Road 60
G60's with a tread width of 9", think they will fit ok??? or will the rim hang out??

Should be OK. I have a tread pattern on the Fly of 10" on a 10" wheel. Actually it should be close to ideal I think, but thats my opinion.

Thanks -also have a pr of 15x7's same wheels(AR five spokes) ,just not to hot on the balloon look in either derection.tread or side wall.

I think the wider rims would be fine and since it is a short sidewall the balooning effect should be at a minimum.

I think Roothawg hit the nail on the head- the sidewalls bloat should be an inch at least wider than the tread portion of any tire.
