I recently found this Starliner in a barn near me. It is the classic story of a failed project. Some disassembly and rust repair was done many years ago, then it sat. It has been in the previous owners barn for the past 13 years with no work done to it...and in the barn from the guy he bought it from for who knows how long.

It is definately a project. It appears to still be wearing it's original Ivory Mist over Coral Red paint. It has some rust in the front floors, but otherwise seems quite solid. The torque boxes have been replaced by one of the previous owners. It is mostly there. What I can see is missing is the seats, front bumper, radiator, starter, instruments...probably some other items if I looked hard enough. All the hard to find trim is there (belt mouldings, flipper seals, stainless, etc...some duplicates), with the exception of the grill surrounds and grill bars (there is one grill surround that may be repairable, but that is a stretch).
It comes with 4 front fenders, 2 hoods, 2 extra doors, an extra right rear quarter, extra dash, and duplicates of some of the other front sheet metal. At least 2 of the front fenders are good and all are probably useable with some repair. One of the hoods is good and the other is probably repairable. Both extra doors, the driver's door on the car and the extra right rear quarter and the left rear quarter on the car are good. Trunk lid is good.
The windshield and the right side door glass are cracked. The rest appear good. Even an extra vent window or two.
This is a Champion. 6 cylinder, 3 speed with overdrive. I can't turn the engine by hand.
No title.

Not many of these beautiful cars were produced and few have survived. My Starliner street rod (365 HP 327/T10 4 speed) looked just like this one when I dragged it home. It looks like this now...
