Exactly what are you trying to clean? The ONLY thing I've ever read about this type of product actually working was a review about this stuff that BG makes called 44K. It is pricey stuff, but according to the write up (a personal webpage; i.e. could just be some moron) this stuff is suppose to be well worth the $20 price tag. My local NAPA has some sitting on their counter right now.
I tried it in my late model to try to cure a problem that is giving my knock sensor all kinds of problems, but after using it, I've found out that my problem is something else alltogether.
It might be just for fuel injectors, I'm not sure.

if you're talking about for old cars i like to throw in a can of B12 chemtool now and then it keeps the filter in the tank from clogging up,and if it's already clogged will clear that out too.when i first got my Olds it would act like it was running out of gas after it used 1/4 tank.i was too lazy to pull it out and clean it the right way so i used the B12,took2-3 cans but easier than dropping the tank.if you're talking fuel injector cleaners then i have no idea-george
