Hey guys and gals, i just wanted to say hello! i am 23 years old and i am a full time Reservest in the Air Force Reserves as a Michinist / Welder. I have grown up around old cars since i was 4 yrs. old. My Grandfather used to be a painter at the Kansas City GM plant. Even though he worked at GM, he was a ford fan at heart. One of my earliest memories was sitting on his lap driveing his 31' model a roadster. Anyway, back to info about me. currently i am working on a 40' chevy ratrod truck. in the past i have owned a model A five window coupe, a 71 nova, 39' chevy 2 door sedan. i will post some pics soon, but just wanted to say hello. -Brian

Welcome! This place has a ton of great info. Instead of "ratrod" perhaps "cost conscious" . . . "low buck"? I don't care what you call it . . . I'm getting my 62 Buick Special (made at BOP in Kansas City) back on the road . . . maybe this week!
