I'm not ready to prep for paint or anything like that, but it's time I get some of these trim holes filled and maybe a radius or two cut. Anyone in SoCal care to make a little extra money?

I might be able to help you, but I have little free time cuz of school and work. Cutting the 'bones is real easy, and patching holes isn't bad either. Let me know whats up and we will see if we can work something out. I'm in Santa Ana.

Thanks for the offers. I'm living in Mission Viejo and working in Anaheim now (Extron Electronics). I lost the gig at PRIMEDIA, publishing car mags. They sold the mag I was working on to a publisher back east. sucks!
Anyway, I'm thrilled to finally get to a little of this basic body work. I'm having a baby on Tuesday so we'll have to plan around her. Anyone free this Sat or Sun? Both of you are close so I could even cruise over after work Friday if that helps fit anyone's schedule.

low springs, there's plenty to be done. Don't lose hope. I have to go to work tomorrow. I'll be thrilled just to get the trim holes filled tonight. With 2 or 3 of us though, we should be able to knock out a bunch of stuff.

With about 5 hours put into the car last night, Lonestar38 and I got most all the holes filled (nearly 100). The trim holes were larger than Lonestar38 thought they were going to be and that caused a lot of grief. Didn't get to filling any of the large patch areas like the antenna hole, gas cap filler hole, etc. We also discovered the front right fender is bondo heavy. They did a hell of a job, but since the fenders aren't that hard to get, I'm going to try and find a replacement. Anyone know of a 63 passenger fender, e-mail me?
We didn't even touch any glaze; just ran out of time.
I got my first time on a MIG and they tell me I didn't do too bad. Now I'll have to break down and buy one.
Lonestar38's crew in Costa Mesa turned out to be a really nice bunch of guys. I showed up with a case and within hours we had like 7 people there. Old cars were everywhere. Thanks Asher for letting us use the space. Hopefully after my daughter is born this coming Tuesday I can swing by again to say high. Maybe even rope you into some work...

Doesn't look like I'm welding. Ok so hot liquid steal squirts out of my finger tips and I don't need a mask http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I didn't even realize you took any pictures

Here's Charley welding when he's not just faking it.
Thanks again Charley for hooking me up. Hopefully we hang out again sometime soon.

If it's a 62 or 63 year model, it'll work. Double check the year and see how much it weighs and maybe we can make it happen. My zip 92691. Thanks.
