Hi, i'm George. I live out in the middle of nowhere between Burlington and East Troy. I work as a machinist but i also do welding and fabrication. I've fooled around with cars for a while but i've never done anything as involved as the project i'm taking on now. This '35 chev truck will be the first hotrod i ever built, it has been in my garage for a while now. I finally feel that i have the skills and resources to do the job right. I really dig the classic hotrod style, and want to steer the design of my truck in that direction.
I think youguys have a great website with alot of cool cars. Seeing as i have never done this before, I come here looking for answers to my many questions. And in turn, i'd be happy to offer any info or answer any questions youguys might have about machining.

thanks for the intro George, I hope we can help to answer any questions you might have. the "Tech-o-Matic" is an excellent resource, the search function is also a great tool, and ,of course, you can always ask.

Theres always stuff at Gus' Drive in in East Troy every Sat late afternoon/early evening, but its a mix of classics, muscle cars, hot rods. There is a show put on down by the airport in Milw around Aug 19 ? by the Cheaters, or Losers, Im not quite sure, post on the main board and the guys will give you the info. Go to the Hunert Car Pileup in Oct I believe, DONT MISS IT, again, look on the main board, soomeone has already started a post on it.

Gus' is always good and the Hunnert Car is in Oct I believe the 14th is the best arround. Last year the Goodguys in Waukesha believe it or not had some OK stuff and a whole lot of crappy BILLET junk. Check out Madison Classics for some swap meets those are pretty good. Hope this helps JeremyTheres always stuff at Gus' Drive in in East Troy every Sat late afternoon/early evening, but its a mix of classics, muscle cars, hot rods.
