If it's for race only don't even run front brakes. If you're running the beam axle because it's lighter than all the IFSparts then drums are usually lighter than disc brakes, so run drums. At least that's what I'd do.

That link for the Econoline disc kit seems to show using the stock hub and a hat type rotor, maybe from a Jeep? Or other Ford rear disc brake like an Explorer? The caliper looks like a standard Delco Morraine caliper used throughout the 70's and 80's. Simple bracket that uses the backing plate bolt holes and mount it all up. A good design from what I can see.
That said, why not run the Econoline stock drum set-up? If you are building a gasser, that would have been the era-correct brakes used. Econoline drums are extra wide (like 2.5 inch wide shoes) and would seem to have plenty of braking, unless your car is real fast. Only drawback is that Econoline drums are junkyard only, they are not available new. So if yours are missing, then the disc kit may be the way to go, but I think you still need some hubs to start.

1970 to1977 GM rotors will fit using the stock Chevy bearings. Just add a 1/4" spacer between the outer bearing and the stock flat washer. CHANGE the inner grease seal to CR#17406. Use and Intermediate GM calipers like Chevelle- Nova- Regal- Cutlass- Monte- Firebird. This is what is in the kit I think they are selling. Priced OUTRAGE!!
