Hello,
Been watching this site for sometime now. Lots of great information on the board. I am a programmer by day, but I'm always building something at the house.
In high school I had a 1970 GTO and said I would never sell it. As so often happens I got married and out went the car.
Stayed away from cars for a long while as we raised a family, but 5 years ago I bought a 1951 Willys CJ-3A and rebuilt it.
Then it happened. My son wrecked his 1990 Chevy 4x4 so I bought him a 1962 C10, stock, with a 283 and cast iron powerglide.
Powerglide is gone, and the '62 now has the '90 350 small block turbo 350.
That left me with the '62 283 and '90 5-speed. That is when I discovered the HAMB.
The HAMB put me on my current course of accumulating parts for a suicide front end. Hoping to cobble a model A frame next and start hang parts.
Thanks,
Tony
PS - Those Willys flahead fours are great motors, saw someones post here yesterday.
