I'm in the process of finishing the airbag installation in my car.
My question is can I use a heat gun to help bend the lines in the directions that i want them to go.
I'm not talking about bending 90's or anything, just gentle curves to help take some sideways pressure off of the fittings and for looks too.
Oh yeah, I'm using 1/2" line.

i wouldn't. that line is made to handle high pressure, the heat could weaken it. just my .02

Here's another thought.
Could I soak the lines in hot water to soften them up?

I used to deal with soda fountain lines, which are very hard and stiff...(insert joke here)
We used to use hot water to soak it in before routing.
Get a 5 gallon bucket and take the hot water right out of the spicket on your hot water tank. It's pretty dang HOT!Ya hafta work pretty quick though.

i would probally just use angle fittings so the airlin can be run straighter.

A little heat won't hurt the lines...You just don't want to heat real close to the end that connects to the bag...It may not seal good...
