Hi All.

New here.

Heard of this place in Garage magazine. I'm primarily a Mopar guy, but am fascinated by all things automobilia, and just generally dig Old stuff.

I have a 73 318 Duster and a '73 Challenger, but the car I'll likely be badgering everyone here about is my '66 Dart Wagon Slant 6 car. I primered it Two-Tone black and white and even stuck on a Cherry Bomb. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm attaching 4 pics of the car (You can see the Duster and Challenger in a couple of 'em, too, if you care.) and 1 of the triple SU Carb setup I just got from Australia.

I'm from a long line of Mopar guys. Pops has a '46 Dodge Business coupe.

I also hang out at moparts.com, inliners.org and slantsix.org.

Welcome MOPAR guy. we had a '71 Challenger that we traded for a '23 Dodge. Got some other mopar stuff too.
Like the little longroof. Drop the Cherry Bomb and build a split with straights. You'll like the sound and performance better.

Well, the SU intake won't work with the stock exhaust manifold, so I am going to get the Clifford Split Header. Eventually will run Astro Supremes, Skinny whites and Lake Pipes.

I worked in the performance exhaust industry for 3 years, so I'll find a good way to run open sidepipes while keeping the noise down. Even if I have to get creative. May need motorcycle parts or some form of header muffler or pipe insert.

Though it is hard to beat the sound of a Slant Six being over-revved through a Cherry Bomb, it IS easy to beat the Performance. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Got any pics of the '23? Sounds way cool!

The '23 is locked away in storage. Believe it or not I was one of the few who didn't get pic when we were draggin' it home.
Picture a cross between a T Coupe and 29 A coupe. That'll kinda get you there.
The '23 Dodge was the first american car with an all metal roof. They only made a bussiness coupe.
Right now its 3 projects back, 2 quickies, and a major. About 1 year from comming out of hideing.

don't take it personal, but you'd get a better reception if you fill in your profile.

i like the wagon, too, however i'd have to install some serious horsepower.
