Back from Georgia!

Well it's been awhile. I finally made it home, with only minor problems. While I was out there my transmission started giving me some shit, grinding in 3rd and 4th, but it was still drivable. Then on a great drunken stooper I ran up on a curb and tore my passenger side rocker all to hell. The rest of the trip went fairly smooth until last night about 12:30 when I proceeded to run out of gas south of Dallas on I-20. When I tried to restart it, being that it grinds in 3&4, and I was still going pretty quick I tried to put it in 5th and pop the clutch, well nothing happened, as far as restarting the car. Something did happen in the trans and I lost 5th and reverse.
So I called a friend I knew would help me out, Mr. Mike Creager, and in true buddy fashion he got up(having to go to work at 6 the next morning)drove from west Ft Worth, bought some gas cans and filled them up and came all the way to where I-45 meets I-20 and saved the day!
So today I get to work on my car in my own garage!


I was thinking about having a little party at my house this Friday March 12. maybe we will fire up the grill and have some burgers and dogs, and some beers and such, so if anyone wants to come hang out and BS and drink come on over.

i had a blast, had a wasted girlfriend and a hangover that was brutal. i did nothing except eat, now i work on the car all week and the coppertone
