i thought it was the best one in a long time, greaser girl's car took 2nd in the full custom hard top class.... ( i don't think it is a "full" custom, or a hard top, but that's the isca rules) so she was happy, marty lackner from n.w. customs took 2nd in his class, mad max creations took 2nd with a '34 p/u he built for gary baker,(the owner of briz bumpers) he also won the isca 1st award for design & engeneering! yep, a low buck hot rod p/u got the best design & engeneering for the whole show!!!!i thought that was really cool...how did everyone else like the show??....chip

this was the first one of been able to make and i was real impressed the traditional meat i saw out there. and it was cool to see transformation of couple cars that i hadnt been able to see for a while. case in point, marty's '29 bad-kar-ma sedan. wow...

I was called at 6:30 am friday morning (the show opened a 2:00 pm) by Sandy Haskell (Charlies wife) she had her chopped 40 ford on the show floor and the glass that came with the car didn't fit and was not installed.I went down and made patterns left and cut the glass went back to the show, one piece didn't fit went and trimmed that got it installed. walked the entire show when the place was empty and took 150 pictures then went back sat with my Grandson Logan and gave him my digital camera and he took another 450 pictures http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I just have to get them posted http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just like Snake9t9, I worked my ass off this weekend. Post them pics, or give up the link.
I am still bitter about the $20 I dropped to look at a pile of nasty drivers I looked at at the other show.

Show was great! Funny thing there wasn't any one car that just blew me away but what was there I liked. Other than a buddy of mine"s 61 Cad which definitely screamed at me to get started on my Continental. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Zapato,
I'd be driving an airflow if there was an open door to get it out. that car tickled my fancy and next to it,that red 36 hardtop might do in a pinch.
Z man I have in my possession a brand new windshield for a 56-7 lincoln continental. I'll chop it two inches and give it to you for FREE If you will do the rest and get that awesum car out of storage http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
