Hello everyone,
Im Jonnie Fitts from Charlotte NC. I am currently in the USAF and stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. Been in the AF 18 years. I run a Jet engine test facility for F-15 aircraft. I burn rings of fire everyday, could'nt ask for a more satisfying job.
I drive a 53 ford with a flathead, run a GI rockabilly band called the Longone Daddies, (CD soon). I use King double basses, gretsch guitars, fender and silvertone amps and we rock anchorage every weekend. Oh yeah I also wear a quif when I can.
I desperately want to build a 29 ford, rat rod, low boy with a flathead but the prices in alaska are way above a gi's wage and shippings a killer too. Looking forward to reading all these threads and gaining knowledge for when I retire and build my own hellraising, hualin ass, flathead screaming machine. See ya

Thank you for being of service to our country. Welcome to the HAMB. one of the most intersting places you will ever visit. Several military folks on this board. On a thread a while back it was noticed that a lot of jet engine mechanics are HAMB members. Its funny I have not thought of a number for years but I rembered it after reading your intro.. 43250... Welcome again
