Ok, sbc with points, how do I wire the coil, dist, resistor, and the tach. I scribbled it down somewhere, but don't remember where. Does it matter which side of the resistor you wire to? doesn't have a plus or minus anywhere on it. Been a long time since I fooled with coils and points, (forgot what I was missin) thanx....

switched power to ballast resistor, from resistor into coil, lead to points from coil, green wire from tach to neg side of coil, points side.

The wire coming out of the distributor connects to the negative side of the coil.

Run a line from the positive side of the coil, through the resistor, to the ignition switch.

Ignition switch goes to the starter soleniod, and then to the battery.

On the tach, connect the red wire gets 12V, black goes to ground. Someone is going to have to help me out here on the green and white wires. I think the green wire goes to the negative side of the coil and the white is the tach light, but you should doublecheck that.
