Here's the deal.

Since I got this home my bud's just won't let it go that it should be a gasser. Me? I think they hate to see the TA cut up. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif It is a lot less work up front.

My opinion? As cool as they are I have always thought the large bodied gassers were a waste. Wanna go fast, build light. But now I'm looking at old issues of Hot Rod brought to me http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif to remind me of how bitchin they looked and it's leaning heavily in that direction. And would make a nice tow vehicle.

I've emailed worm and we'll see.

Already called and emailed Randy's Ring & Pinion for a cost on the '55 rear to see what is available because I really don't think I want or need to run a narrowed rear. Stability issues and the wheelwells will hold up to a 12.5 tire with the correct b.s.

PM what you want for that rear though. Not like it's a Safari and metal can be replaced. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Gotta go.
