View Full Version : rear exit block huggers?
on the ford i can fit a full length header on to the passenger side but the drivers side is to tight
does anyone make a tight shorty header that would exit in the rear?
i think running one manifold and one header would hurt things and just manfolds is going to kinda choke down this motor a bit
thoughts? just go fenderwells?

Check Sanderson's web site for chevy's. The cc10 and cc12 are rear exit.

Here's one way out.
Go to Speedway Motors and do a search on headers.
Third page may have what you want.

Hey Tim, What year model is your ford. Im running a SBC in my 50 and have the same problem. Sanderson makes a rear dump header for the SBC but it still sticks out to far for my situation. Right now Im running two different manifolds. The one on the drivers side dumps toward the rear and just barely clears the steering box. Let me know if you find somthing that works. I saw some block huggers at a swap meet the other day that might work. Ive only got about 2.5 inches clearence on the drivers side.
