1948 Dodge truck wheel bolt pattern

I am going to pick up my new project this weekend and the guy told me it will roll but what he forgot to tell me is that all four wheels are flat and one was no tire on it. The truck is 1/2 ton is it 5 on 4 1/2 or something else?If it is will late model rims fit it ?

Ford truck wheels should fit the Dodge.(Dodge will not fit Ford because Ford has larger diameter hub.

I think it's 4 1/2". Another thing to watch for is the one side may have reverse thread lugs on it.

Ford wheels don't have the extra holes to fit the dodge dowel pin. Do yourself a favor and go buy a portable air tank (cheap) it will come in handy alot more often than you could imagine and secondly do not lend your new tank as soon enough someone will neglect to return it and you won't remember whom borrowed it...

I have a set I pulled off a '49 1/2 ton Dodge.

16 inchers, the domed style kinda like the Fords of that era but with the small pattern and clips for hub caps.

ok so what other wheels will fit on a 1949 dodge b100? and what is the bolt pattern? thank you.

my '50 has a 4 1/2" bolt circle so ford rims interchange...the pin could pose problems....remember the reverse thread on 1 side....not sure which anymore....mine's all changed....those rear drums can sure be a pain to remove...J W

Wow this is from the past.
I went to pick this truck and took some extra wheels along. None of them fit. Only thing the would was my trailer spare tire. I think it was a 5x5 pattern.
