Hello there.........This whole introduction thing seems a little queer to me, but I've been lurking long enough to know its standard protocol. So here goes!

Live in Boulder Creek California (near Santa Cruz). In my youthful 20's. Been driving my '29 A roadster on '32 rails for about eight years. Collecting parts for a '27 T roadster pickup project (a hillbillyesque crap hauler). And picked up a '57 Chevy pickup last month for more immediate crap hauling needs (Z'd the frame front and rear last weekend so as to look cool while "crap hauling").

I know I'll be able to pick up lots of usefull information here (I allready have), and I hope I've got some to offer. I'll try and post some a couple of pictures but??????????

Flag is a window covering, displayed correct on the outside.
I am a fuckin nimrod and only by the grace of god did that first picture come through. I think my problem is the resolution is too high. I took the photos on the cameras lowest setting, then I open them in Paint and save them there. Beyond than I'm lost.

The shity pickup is ....not too shity at all! The bike project is looking good also.....I guess now it boils down to time, some cash and afew buds that don't drink all your beer when there lending a hand with your rides.

I'm trying to keep my projects in order, so I'll start working on the '27 when the sportster is done. Should only be a month or so.

Nimrod

Yeah Southfork, spring behind the axle.
Plan right now is to run the axle in front of the radiator, and spring behind the radiator. With the cowl and rad. shell lined up there wouldn't be enough room for a decent radiator above the spring so it'll hang down there between 'em.

Body'll sit on the frame, and the frame will angle up at the cowl and start tapering down ending in some spindly little frame horns over the axle. I'm going to cut off the subframe under the bed, and the frame will follow up the curve at the back of the tub up to where the bed is sitting, then along the bottom of the bed. Rear will be supported by parallel leafs.

nimrod welcome. Is that sporty frame bend down on the rear triangle or is it just the pic? did you buy that frame or fab it yourself? It just looks a little"off" to me.

Hey Fastsporty, not sure what you meant there. But thats a modified sportster frame, using the sportsters two bottom tubes, the head tube, and the junction piece behind the gas tank (shouldn't have used that, a little too bulky).

I could use some tips on posting photos if anyone can help. I tried to link to some pictures I saved at Photobucket.com and that just resulted in a red X. And I can't seem to figure out how to resize small enough to attach them dirrect. I'm a computer rookie!

Welcome to the HAMB Nimrod!

I kinda-sorta met you at my party when I had the motor-meltdown... I remember seeing your roadster out in front of my house... it's all a blur... (and I was bummed we didn't get to talk)

Anywho, welcome aboard!
Sam.

I totally dig your roadster! I stared at it for a long time in downtown after BilletProof 02. I'm heading down to visit friends in Santa Cruz in the next few weeks, and I'd love to meet you in person.
