Hey HAMBers,
I don't want to make this too long winded but here it goes:
I've been reading/lurking this site for a few months now (awesome website with loads of information). I have been going to the drag races/car shows since before I can remember; my dad taught me right. So, I am really looking to start my first hot rod. I am very interested in model A trucks. I want to build a traditional, fenderless model A truck and I want it to haul ass. I have owned some pretty quick newer model cars and speed is a necessity.
Anyway, here is where I would like advice: I have never built anything like this before; I have never fabricated anything in my life aside from a nice shit from time to time. Back on topic; while I dream about creating my own rod from nothing, I know it would be easier to start from something already started. Does that make sense? Eh, fuck it.
I have seen some projects for sale that I would love to buy but I have no guidance other than the internet and you people here. Is it too much for me to tackle? Should I buy something nearly done?
Let me know guys as I want to get started as soon as possible.
