I will gladly build you one of my well-weathered rusty rod models to display on a shelf in your home, garage or office as a unique conversation piece! My specialty is doing concept models that depict home-built low dollar hot rods. I like 'em to look a little beat-up, and rust is a must!
I can do replicas of given full scale cars (your ride, for example!), but sourcing specific individual parts in scale can get expensive, so be forewarned! "Freestyle" builds assembled from readily available kits and parts following a customer-suggested guideline come much cheaper!
For HAMB members, I will build you a completed model for double the cost of the base kit, materials and paint used to cover labor. Given that a typical build can take 2-3 weeks, that works out to about 2 cents per hour...pretty reasonable!

Allowing that most kits run $12-$15, and that each build will require painting and various small detail parts, completed models will involve at least $22 in parts and materials, so prices start at $44 for a complete build, to give you an idea.
Models can be shipped Priority Mail for around $6 to U.S. addresses (if you don't live close enough for personal delivery!), so I will fix my shipping rates at $6 for models shipped to the continental United States, with Canadian and foreign orders priced per customer.
So, with shipping, my base HAMBer price for a Hack-built model starts at $50. I ask for at least a 50% deposit up front to cover the cost of the initial kit and needed materials, with the balance due upon completion.
(If you desire a sweet, show-quality paint finish, I can provide that as well. My partner does incredible base coat/clear coat laquer jobs on model cars and highlights them with a hand rubbed perfect gloss. Add $40 for a super high quality show car paint job to your model if you wish.)
PM me for specific details and an itemized price quote for your individual model project.
Note: Build times will run from 2-3 weeks at least. As warmer weather arrives, or as more orders come in, builds may take a little longer. I will try to give you an accurate estimate as to a completion date along with your estimate, but actual build times may run longer. I will do my best to keep you advised of the progress on your project, however.
